Reader query: Experiences teaching about stereotype threat? February 2, 2012

As we’ve noted here before (one example),teaching about stereotype threat can help to alleviate it. But it’s not always clear what is the most useful thing to say, or how best to work this in to a philosophy class. Do any of you have experiences (good or bad) with teaching about stereotype threat in philosophy classes? A reader wants to know.
