KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Tracy Isaacs, Western University

The Canadian Society for Women in Philosophy invites papers from all areas of philosophy, including the history of philosophy, analytical and continental philosophy, related to the theme of the conference, broadly construed to include issues of both literal eating and, more generally, appetites and desires. We also welcome submissions of panel proposals that focus on specific questions, problems, and concepts at work within analyses of food, appetites, and consumption practices.

Standard submissions of long abstracts (1000 words) are invited (for eventual presentation of papers not exceeding 3000 words). Submissions from graduate students wishing to be considered for the CSWIP Graduate Award should follow the separate instructions for submission below those for standard submission; see the website for details.
