    Picked the story up on BBC site. It’s surprising she had to go to these lengths and glad also that she won.

    Iceland is quite strict when it comes to names – they have to fit with grammar and pronunciation rules. Blaer’s name Bjarkardottir translates along the lines of “light breeze”.

    Just to be clear :)… Blaer means “light breeze” – not Bjarkardottir
