Anca Gheaus has a really nice paper that’s highly relevant to the Gendered Conference Campaign, “Three Cheers for the Token Woman”. Check it out!

Great article! Thanks for the tip.

  3. If you see this, Anca, I want to thank you so much for pointing out the lack of meritocracy in many academic philosophy practices! We really need more discussion of the ‘ethics of academia’ in general, I think, because the more one examines current practices, the more one finds them wanting in every way. Not surprising, really, when one thinks of the old-boy origins of most practices, particularly in the UK, and the mirroring of the traditions of two very old universities that are not known for their inclusiveness!

Chloe, thanks for the nice message. And to all for the good feed-back.
