Fetal Supremacy

Story here about a woman who has been charged with “concealing the death of a child” because she miscarried at 15-20 weeks and stored the fetus in the freezer rather than seeking medical attention. OK, yes, it’s a little odd to put the fetus in a freezer, but people do strange things when they’re upset– and a miscarriage at 15-20 weeks is no picnic. And yes, she probably could have used medical attention, but failing to see a doctor is not a crime. And: a 15-20 week fetus is NOT A CHILD. So, here we’ve got a distressed woman being charged who has not committed any crime, and a 15-20 week fetus being considered a child.
