I love the idea in the piece your link goes to that matzoh ball soup takes us back to the womb.
One can get very motivated to turn to a turkey substitute by finding out about “turkey breeding facilities.” I saw a video of one today and for me that finished the idea of eating turkey.
i am SO making a califurkey roll next year!
jj: singer and mason (apparently) went under cover and took jobs as turkey inseminators in oklahoma in preparation for writing _the ethics of what we eat_. their description of the actual process makes one want to crawl out of one’s skin post-haste. i can only imagine what the process would actually look like! blech!
