Not one, but two models fell during a recent Herve Leger fashion show, due to the absurd shoes they were given. Their *job* is to walk in these things. They train for it. And even they can’t do it. Think, Herve: what do you suppose this might mean?

These skyscraper heels have been causing problems for awhile now. It’s entirely absurd.
Sometimes I wonder if the height of heels is inversely related to women’s equality: The higher the heel, the less equal we are treated. So this trend would be a visual reminder of the backlash against the women’s movement.
Similar to how hemlines forecast economy.
