I firmly expect that, in a few years, HEFCE will proudly introduce the REG.
Will that stand for Research Exercise Guff?
There’s been a review of the ‘process to promote equality and diversity’ in the last RAE (e.g. institutions had to produce a code of practice, publish selection criteria, and produce a demographic profile of staff who were submitted, among other things).
