The NY Times writes:
Instead of a Barbie-doll circumference, there was suddenly, amazingly, a womanly roundness to their frames. More Marilyn than Twiggy, that’s for sure.

Was the “fat” line the original Huffington headline? Or is the current “New York Times Discusses Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Weight Gain'” one of the changes made sometime in the 20 minutes after the first post?
Because in the former scenario, the New York Times look more like the good guys, and the Huffington Post the scoundrels. Whereas the new headline (and article) somehow make the Times look like the bunch of shallow knobs, with the more reflective Huffington crew calling them on it.
Fascinating.
Clare, that is fascinating. The ‘fat’ line was the original Huff-Po headline.
Wow, the comments underneath the story renew my faith in (some of) humankind. They uniformly praise the women and condemn the “scrutinization.”
