Columbia University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs- LGBTQA Programming & Advising will be hosting a Teach-In on October 14, titled “Institutional/ized Homophobia & Heterosexism Teach-In.” Here are the details:
Date & Time: Friday, October 14, 2011, 9AM-3:30PM
Location: Rm 283-Grace Dodge Hall, Teacher’s College @ Columbia University
Overall Teach-In information: A Teach-in exploring microaggressions, heterosexism, and homophobia in higher educational settings and possible impacts on learning and social membership experiences of diverse LGBTQA communities. Join us for panel discussions, interactive workshops, and lots of stimulating dialogue. There will be a keynote presentation from Dr. Kevin Nadal, a leading expert on microaggressions and assistant professor of psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Join us for panel discussions, interactive workshops, and lots of stimulating dialogue.
