I remember them as traditional and dull, last time I lived in the US. But now they’re serious advocates for LG (don’t know about BTQ!) rights. And yes, this probably does help them financially, given the stats on support for same sex marriage. (Though do those supporters also support same sex parenting? I genuinely don’t know.) But isn’t that an awesome fact?
Hopefully this is a sea change for JC Penney — in other words, I hope this also means that we’ve seen the last of the sexist shirts for girls:
