Bristol University Christian Union and Women Speakers

First the news was that the Bristol University Christian Union had banned women from speaking at its meetings, unless accompanied by their husbands. Then there were corrections, which explained that this wasn’t a new policy but an old one. And now there’s apparently been a U-Turn and women will now be allowed to speak. As they say around here when they’re being condescending, “bless”.
