  1. The site is very interesting. The fact that the one you’ve put up is supposed to be negative missed me. There is another kind of cat image that comes in later, it says. Getting them right might need more context than we normally have.

  2. I guess it is supposed to be just as absurd to give women the vote as it would be to give cats the vote? Also: At the turn of the century, having animals wear clothes seemed to be a common way to show them as being out of their element and therefore worthy of ridicule (see eg Jemima Puddle Duck).

    I would definitely give that cat the vote tho.
