Kathryn Gines wins Joyce Mitchell Cook Award at the APA

Kathryn Gines was honored for her book, Hannah Arendt and the Negro Question, with the Joyce Mitchell Cook award from the Committee on the Status of Black philosophers. Dr. Cook was the first African American woman to receive a PhD in philosophy in the U. S. John Protevi blogs about it here.
