  2. Honestly, where are the jesuits when one needs them? I don’t think the proper way to reason about this is to focus on letting the fetus-carrier die. The focus should be on whether one intends to kill the fetus as opposed to doing something that leads to its death and the carrier’s life.

    It does, of course, seem profoundly sad to find that a woman’s present family gets to keep her only if one can meet the logic.
