Society for Interdisciplinary Feminist Phenomenology

…now has a new website. Here is their announcement:

The recently formed Society for Interdisciplinary Feminist Phenomenology is pleased to announce the launch of our website. SIFP was formed by Professors Bonnie Mann and Beata Stawarska, both faculty members in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Oregon; Dr. Sara Heinämaa, Senior lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Helsinki, Finland, Professor of Women’s Studies at the Centre for Women’s Studies and Gender Research at the University of Oslo, Norway, and International Adviser of SIFP; and Dr. Eva Maria Simms, Professor of Psychology at Duquesne University and the National Adviser of SIFP.   2. I wasn’t going to comment because advanced mind topics are still a little over my head, as it were. But I thought I’d still take a peek at the site. I’m having trouble getting in.

    Is this one of those academic sites that I have to access from school? Or is the trouble something that can be remedied on your end or theirs?

  3. Yep. Over my head and under my feet. They “don’t teach that continental stuff”–yes, that’s a direct quote–where I am. Thanks for the new link jj. It’ll help other visitors to the site.
